Dr. Wanda Walborn

Professor: Cultivating a Listening Ear and Obstacles to Intimacy with Christ

Wanda received her B.S. in Education from Nyack College, an M.A. in Intercultural Studies from Alliance Theological Seminary and D.Int.St. from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon. Prior to her employment at Nyack College, Wanda was a church planter with her husband, a stay-at-home mother for their four children and a reading curriculum developer for the Connecticut public school system. Wanda is an Associate Professor of Spiritual Formation at Nyack College and Alliance Theological Seminary.

Ron Walborn

Professor: Role of the Holy Spirit

Dr. Ron Walborn is the Vice President and Dean of Alliance Theological Seminary and Nyack College in Nyack NY, New York City and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Dr. Walborn also serves on the Board of Directors for the Christian and Missionary Alliance and was recently re-elected to another four year term. He has a B.A. in History from Nyack College, an M.Div. from Alliance Theological Seminary and a D.Min from Fuller Theological Seminary. Dr. Walborn has pastored churches in Connecticut and California. He has authored one book and numerous articles and chapters for other publications. Dr. Walborn was born and raised in Western Pennsylvania and is a life-long, die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan! Ron and his wife Wanda have four adult children and two beautiful grandchildren.

Michelle Park

Professor: Dealing with Conflict

Michelle Park holds a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliance University’s Graduate School of Counseling. She has a private practice in Queens, NY where she sees individuals, couples and families, while supervising marriage and family therapy interns and pre-licensed therapists. Michelle is an adjunct instructor for her alma mater and often partners with her husband Sam, to minister to couples and individuals who are serving in ministry. They live in Queens, NY with their 2 daughters Sophia & Emma Jay and their adopted border-collie/pointer mix, Lady Paisley.

Rev. Kelvin Walker

Professor: Identifying & Healing Family Wounds

Rev. Kelvin Walker is the District Superintendent of the Metro District and the Corporate Vice President of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. He previously served as the lead pastor of Bedford Community Church, in Bedford Hills, NY. Kelvin served on staff at churches in Girard, PA, Virginia Beach, VA, Pittsburgh, PA, and as the Campus Pastor at the Rockland campus of Nyack College. He has 6 adult children and lives in Bronx, NY with his wife.

Rev. Dr. Charles Galbreath

Professor: Spiritual Gifts

Rev. Dr. Charles Galbreath serves as the Senior Pastor of Clarendon Road Church (CRC) in Brooklyn, New York. He is the Director of Field Education and an Adjunct Professor at Alliance Theological Seminary in New York City. He currently serves on Brooklyn Borough President’s Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Community Partnerships.

Dr. Ingrid Davis

Professor: Community and Mission of the Church

Dr. Ingrid Davis is a Certified Leadership Coach. She has her BS in Education, an MA in Intercultural Studies, and a D.Min in Global Leadership. As a former International Worker with the C&MA in Mali, W. Africa, Ingrid has a heart to develop other women who will be a part of God’s restoration project. She loves to see Empower women who are investing in themselves and their development – to be all that God has created them to be and to then turn around and invest in others.

Dr. Michael Plunket

Professor: Prayer and Intercession

Rev. Michael Plunket is the Senior Pastor of Risen King Alliance Church. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Pastoral Ministry Department at Nyack College in Nyack, New York. Mike earned his Master of Divinity at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi and his D. Min. at Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, NY. Since his ordination in 1986, Mike has organized, helped start, and pastored five churches in Mexico City, Mexico and Atlanta, Georgia. He is also an instructor with College of Prayer International and has led prayer gatherings for ministry leaders in Uganda, Norway and Ecuador.

Lisa Plunket

Professor: Dealing with Grief and Anxiety

Mrs. Lisa Plunket is the Pastor of Spiritual Life at Risen King Alliance Church in New City, NY. Lisa studied New Testament Studies and History at Western Kentucky University. She has been mentoring women and teaching Bible studies since she was 19. Prayer and mentoring women is her primary ministry. Lisa is responsible for Growth Groups, Pastoral Care, and Leadership Development at Risen King.

Dr. Linda Warren

Professor: Old Testament Survey

Dr. Linda Warren’s passion is to see lives transformed by bringing God’s Word to life. She is a teacher, a pastor, and a conference and retreat speaker. Linda has taught and mentored students and vocational ministers. She has also taught at Nyack College in the School of Bible and Christian Ministry and the Metro Nazarene School of Ministry. Linda has served on the Metro New York District Ministerial Credentials Board for the Church of the Nazarene.

Linda is co- lead pastor at Westchester Chapel Church of the Nazarene in White Plains, NY a church which she and her husband planted. Prior to entering vocational ministry, Linda was the Consumer Marketing Director for Sports Illustrated.

She lives in Westchester County, NY with her husband Jim and daughter Rebekah.

Dr. Martin Sanders

Professor: Understanding your Calling

Dr. Martin Sanders is a mentor, professor, pastor, consultant, author, and speaker. He has spent over 30 years developing the leaders around him. Martin has the vision, passion, and skills to see development in leaders at both the local and global levels. For 36 years he has taught, first at Canadian Theological Seminary in Regina, Saskatchewan, and then for 32 years at Alliance Theological Seminary, in New York, NY where he is the Doctor of Ministry Program Director for the past 12 years. Martin has more than 12 years of pastoral experience in fast growing, life changing churches in both Canada and the United States as well as two extended intentional interim pastorates in Western Australia.Dr. Sanders is president and founder of Global Leadership, Inc., a non-profit organization designed to develop the next generation of leaders in under-resourced parts of the world. Through Global Leadership, thousands of leaders have been taken to the next level of effectiveness in their personal and professional lives on every continent. Martin and his late wife have 4 children.

Dr. Amy Davis Abdallah

Professor: New Testament Survey

Amy F. Davis Abdallah, PhD, is a wife and mother who writes, teaches, preaches, leads, and mentors in the United States and abroad. Woman, the rite of passage she pioneered, has been transforming and empowering its many participants for several years. In addition to journeying with women, Amy also guides others academically as an Associate Professor of Theology and Bible at Nyack College.

Dr. Rob Reimer

Professor: Theology of the Kingdom

Rev. Dr. Rob Reimer earned a B.A. in English from King’s College, a M. Div. from Alliance Theological Seminary, and a Doctorate in Preaching from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He was the founding and former lead pastor of South Shore Community Church until June 2017. He is now a professor at Alliance Theological Seminary for the Doctorate of Ministry. Rob is also an accomplished author. His books, Soul Care, Deep Faith, River Dwellers, and Pathways to the King have been sold worldwide. Rob regularly speaks at conferences, leadership retreats, mission fields, churches, and seminaries in the United States and abroad. Rob and his wife, Jen, live in the Nyack, NY area with their four children, Danielle, Courtney, Darcy, and Craig.
